       Volunteers went to Yuntou Community, Xinxu Town, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City, to visit and bring condolences to the local poor grandmother Huang Shu. Grandma Huang Shu is a 96-year-old disabled elder. When she saw us coming, her face was full of joy. With a smile like that, grandma told us about her life and physical condition. Volunteers listened carefully to grandma's story, cut her fingernails; taught her to press acupuncture points on joints, which is good for blood circulation; Huang Shu's daughter-in-law is almost 70 years old, and her two sons both work in Haicang. she often comes back, she says “I am illiterate, do not understand smartphones, and do not know how to install WeChat”. The volunteers helped save the phone numbers of her sons and installed WeChat, so that they can contact the volunteers if they need anything. The volunteers also checked the electrical facilities at home and agreed to repair the damaged multi-purpose plug-in board next time.
